VILLAGE OF PINECREST COUNCIL
James Field Jr. grew up in Pinecrest and graduated from nearby University of Miami with honors. After graduation, James traveled the world as a highly competitive professional golfer before setting his sights on a different kind of goal – developing his business acumen and philanthropic contributions. With these goals in mind, James became the director of business development for one of the largest agriculture companies in the country and simultaneously founded Dogmadik, a supply chain management company which provides services to various emerging restaurant brands. James also donated his time to various philanthropic causes including chairing a fundraiser for Operation Underground Railroad to save children from the sex slave trade and traveling to India with former presidential candidate Mitt Romney as part of Charity Vision. He also has been very active in volunteering for Best Buddies and Gifts in Golf. James recently became a board member of the Florida House, the State Embassy in Washington D.C.
As part of his work in agriculture and farming, Field worked with congressmen and senators in Washington, D.C. Having witnessed the political process first hand while advocating, James felt the need to apply his efforts and talents closer to home and to the community where he grew up; by running for the Village Council of Pinecrest. His unique background and experience in political, business and philanthropic endeavors make him an ideal and effective voice for the Village of Pinecrest.
