James Field Jr. grew up in Pinecrest and graduated from nearby University of Miami with honors. After graduation, James traveled the world as a highly competitive professional golfer before setting his sights on a different kind of goal – developing his business acumen and philanthropic contributions. With these goals in mind, James became the director of business development for one of the largest agriculture companies in the country and simultaneously founded Dogmadik, a supply chain management company which provides services to various emerging restaurant brands. James also donated his time to various philanthropic causes including chairing a fundraiser for Operation Underground Railroad to save children from the sex slave trade and traveling to India with former presidential candidate Mitt Romney as part of Charity Vision. He also has been very active in volunteering for Best Buddies and Gifts in Golf. James recently became a board member of the Florida House, the State Embassy in Washington D.C.
As part of his work in agriculture and farming, Field worked with congressmen and senators in Washington, D.C. Having witnessed the political process first hand while advocating, James felt the need to apply his efforts and talents closer to home and to the community where he grew up; by running for the Village Council of Pinecrest. His unique background and experience in political, business and philanthropic endeavors make him an ideal and effective voice for the Village of Pinecrest.
Operation Underground Railroad (OUR) is a non-profit organization that rescues kidnapped children from slavery. OUR rescue teams are comprised of highly skilled ex-Navy Seal, CIA and other operatives. These teams work in conjunction with and in full cooperation with local police forces and governments to liberate children around the world.
The original Underground Railroad was a network that existed in nineteenth century America to liberate African slaves. Today, slavery has a new face: the face of an innocent child. Slavery’s victims today include nearly two million precious children throughout the world. They are slaves, exploited for sex. The symbol of the underground railroad shines through the darkness that surrounds these poor children and offers hope and freedom to children that are abused daily. Thousands of these children are imported every year from third world countries to developed countries, such as the United States and Canada. Operation Underground Railroad can save and extract them. This is its mission! OUR rescues these children and delivers them to safe havens that offer freedom and rehabilitation. And in the process, OUR expert rescue teams break the avaricious organizations that exploit these children and deliver the perpetrators to jail.
The OUR mission is straightforward: Using cutting-edge computer technology and human intelligence, OUR rescue teams go into the darkest corners of the world to help local law enforcement liberate enslaved children and dismantle the criminal networks.
